Though it is an excellent idea to look at product labels of the items you are buying at the supermarket, it is also very important that sugar are labelled as another ingredient. This includes ingredients like barley malt syrup, molasses and brown rice syrup.

Apart from that, you may also be thinking that cookies and candies are the only products that contain high sugar; however other food items that people consider as healthy may also have high sugar content. This includes granola bars, tomato sauce and fat-free salad dressings.

Remember that too much sugar intake predisposes you to acquire complicated diseases.
